The Summit Preparatory School offers a variety of sports for our students. We are members of the Missouri State High School Activities Association (MSHSAA) and have formed a cooperative sponsorship with New Covenant Academy (NCA) to form athletic teams.

State Swim Meet Recap: After a first day that didn’t go quite as well as planned the Summit-NCA swim team came back on day two with great performances by everyone! Our 200 and 400 Free Relays finished 3rd overall. Individually Faith Guyer finished 9th in the 200 free and 11th in the 200IM; Alexis Workman finished 14th in the 200 free and 11th in the 500 free; Molly Moore set a State record in the 50 Free leading off the 200 Free Relay and also set a State Record in 100 backstroke with her 1st place finish; Eden Chiu-Pinheiro finished 20th in the 100 Free. To top it all off, the team of only 4 swimmers finished 8th overall out of 43 teams! Congratulations on a great season!

Congratulations to The Summit-NCA swim team for their 4th place finish at the SWMO championships today (2/3/2018)! Faith Guyer finished 1st in the 200 free and 3rd in the 100 free, Alexis Workman finished 2nd in the 500 free and 5th in the 200 free, Molly Moore set pool and meet records with her first place finishes in the 50 free and 100 back and lead off on the 400 free relay, Eden Chiu-Pinheiro finished 5th in the 100 free and 10th in the 50 free. Our 200 free relay and 400 free relay finished 1st to end an incredible day by a team of only 4 swimmers. They are all off to the State Meet in St. Peters, MO Feb 15-16th.

Congratulations to the Summit-NCA Swim team for finishing 7th out of 24 teams this weekend at the Springfield Invitational. Over 420 swimmers competed in the meet. Top ten finishers: Alexis Workman – 6th 200 Freestyle, Faith Guyer 3rd 200IM and 7th 100 Freestyle, Molly Moore 1st 50 Freestyle and 100 backstroke. 400 Freestyle Relay 2nd and 200 Medley Relay 9th. SWMO Championships is our final local meet this Friday at 1 pm (prelims) and Saturday at 1pm (finals) at the Natatorium. Come out and cheer our team on!

The Summit-NCA CC team had a successful day at the Capital City Cross Country Meet today! Alexis Workman finished 1st in Class 1 HS girls. The HS boys team finished 1st as a team with several runners placing the top ten. The junior high team was led by a second place finish from Tanner Talley and many others had personal best times. Way to go!

The Summit-NCA Cross Country team had a fantastic first meet yesterday in Bolivar. Alexis Workman and teammate Cassilyn Enyart went 1, 2 in the Class 1 girls race. Our High School boys had 3 runners (Eli Brown, Trevor Talley and Silas Brown) place in the top 15 in the Class 1 race. Tanner Talley finished second in the junior high boys race by just .03 seconds. Our girls junior high team consisting of all first year competitors, including Grace Keech, ran great races to kick off their season. Upcoming meets: Junior High 9/7 in Rogersville at 4pm and both Junior High and High School will compete in Hollister on 9/14 at 3:45pm
